Thank you from Ilkley Clean River Group and Ilkley Great Get Together to everyone that volunteered over the last few years to help our community in Ilkley.

This celebration afternoon is a chance to get together with your friends and family for a community picnic. We are providing a walk map with ‘pop up’ entertainment along the way - a Poets Corner, a photography exhibition at the Manor House, environmental display at the park, music along the way. There will be some children's games in the event marquee.

Come and enjoy music from local bands on the main field, and at the Riverside Hotel at the outdoor seating area. We will also be 'declaring the rights of the river' at the end of the afternoon. Two Rivers Swing Band Swing Band will be playing on the stage in the park from 12.45 until 14.00

We will have street food providers for hot food, ice creams and hot drinks.

Timetable

12.00 Event open – everyone finds their picnic spot. During the afternoon families can go on the riverside walk and enjoy the entertainment en-route

12.00 - 15.00 Music on the stage in East Holmes Field (Two Rivers Swing Band, Dancers and the Heaton Hillbillies)

14.00 Rotary Club Duck Race from the old bridge to the main bridge.

15.00 Volunteer thanks and the Declaration of the Rights of the River

15.30 Finale, with more music from the Downstream Six

12.00 - 20.00 A varied programme of music on the stage at the Riverside Hotel
