2019 Concert Band
Rehearsal and performance of the World Premiere of Concertino for Concert Band written for Two Rivers Concert Band by James Banner, as part of the 2018-19 Making Music Adopt a Composer scheme. 2019 Concert Band
This rehearsal took place at Ilkley Baptist Church on 28th September in the run up to our Adopt a Composer Concerts. The Concert on 19th October 2019 was part of the Ilkley Literature Festival with focus on 2 of the Festival themes: Revolution & Rebellion and From the Moon to Mars. It included our second performance of Concertino for Concert Band by James Banner; a performances by the Outside the Box Music Group and a series of readings by actors from Ilkley Playhouse. 2019 Sax group
Members of our saxophone group had a great time working with the Outside the Box Learning Disabilities Music Group. We arranged one of their songs "Space Travel" and performed it with them at a concert, all dressed in space costumes in the spirit of the Sun Ra Arkestra.
